These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of the Little Discoveries: Kids Learn mobile application ("the App"). By downloading, accessing, or using the App, you agree to be bound by these Terms.
Little Discoveries is an educational storybook application designed for children aged 4–9 and their families, intended to be enjoyed under parental guidance.
1. Use of the Application
The App is provided solely for personal, non-commercial, educational family use. You may not copy, modify, distribute, license, sell, or reverse-engineer the App or any of its software, visual assets, 3D models, or audio files.
2. Intellectual Property & Character Rights
All content within the App — including but not limited to illustrations, 3D models, text, animations, sound effects, voice narration, code, and the character "Olli" — is the proprietary intellectual property of Jacopo Cafarelli & Ineta Kudakaite (operating as Gargano Labs) and protected by international copyright and trademark laws.
3. Zero Personal Data & Privacy First
The App does not require account registration, passwords, or personal profiles. We collect zero personal data. For complete information regarding our compliance with COPPA, GDPR-K, and family privacy safeguards, please consult our Privacy Policy.
4. Offline Hands-On Activities (Kitchen Crafts)
The App suggests voluntary offline crafts and home science activities (such as flour moon craters and rain in a jar) using common kitchen ingredients.
Parental supervision is strongly recommended for all offline hands-on activities, especially for younger children. Little Discoveries and Gargano Labs assume no liability for any accidents, spills, injuries, or property damage resulting from domestic craft or experiment activities.
5. In-App Purchases & Billing
- Core Experience Free: The entire Universe exploration module is 100% free with no time limits or advertisements.
- One-Time Lifetime Unlocks: Optional module expansions (Prehistoric Earth, World Wildlife) are available as one-off non-consumable purchases. We do not offer recurring monthly or yearly subscriptions.
- Payment Processing: All purchases are processed directly and securely by the Apple App Store (via StoreKit) or Google Play Store (via Google Play Billing). We never store or receive your payment credentials.
- Parental Gate: All purchase attempts are strictly gated behind an adult arithmetic challenge to prevent unintentional child purchases.
- Restoring Purchases: Purchases can be restored at any time on devices using the same Apple ID or Google account by visiting "For Grown-Ups" $\rightarrow$ "Restore Purchases".
6. Disclaimer & Limitation of Liability
The App is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis without warranties of any kind. While we strive to ensure scientific accuracy and calm enjoyment, Gargano Labs shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use or inability to use the App.
